  • This two-semester course prepares students for entry-level employment in the accounting or bookkeeping field. Students work independently and in groups to learn computerized general ledger, debit/credit classification, payroll, checkbook management, financial statements (development and analysis), electronic spreadsheet creation, accounts payable/receivable, and inventory.

  • This two-semester course provides a high quality, Microsoft Office tutorial that will prepare students for Microsoft Office Specialist Certifications. Students will become proficient and ready for the job market by mastering Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Students receive math credit for taking this class and can also receive dual enrollment credit with Santa Barbara City College.

  • This two semester course is designed to give students the experience of working in a real business environment. Students determine the nature of their business, its products and services, its management and structure, and learn the daily operation of a business under the guidance of the instructor with the support of real business partners. This course qualifies for Economics credit for graduation; it will also satisfy UC A-G entrance requirement.
